Had 5 jakes and 2 hens enter the field at first light. Watched them for a while and had this guy race across the field to them, only to take a pretty good beating from the jakes. He left the field with the 2 hen and 2 jakes in tow. The other 3 jakes fed around for a while and left. About 40 minutes latter this guy and the hens and jakes came back. I was able to get one of the hens fired up and she came to investigate and brought this guy with her.
Nice. Way to make it happen. I was considering heading to NW FL this weekend, but not sure with the rain expected on Sat.
