Title: Help - trying to find my favorite decoy stakes
Post by: Timmer on March 14, 2011, 10:52:11 PM
A couple of years back I bought 2 stakes that are sort of a thicker tube type stake with a big flat plastic nut at the top to secure the decoy.  Most importantly, there is an adjustment point a ways down towards the bottom of your average sized decoy's body.   Inside that adjustment point there is a thin flat piece of metal maybe 4 inches long.  You can adjust it up and down on that thin piece of metal and when it's up a ways, the bird will rock back and forth in the wind.  It's slick because you can adjust it to match the wind.  On super windy days, don't put it up as much, on not very windy days put it higher.    It's awesome for a feeding decoy.

Unfortunately one of my stakes has gotten a beat up and I'd like to replace it.  I haven't been able to find them anywhere.  Has anyone seen them?

LOL, my first year of hunting I lost mine several times and just started finding whatever I could to use.
