Title: Sites for my Beretta
Post by: memert116 on March 25, 2014, 06:31:35 PM
need suggestions for my Beretta AL391 12ga.  Have always just used a bead but as my eyes turn traitor on me I am thinking about a red dot or holographic site.

Suggestions and advice please

Just put a scope on my A400 extreme and it is legit. I got the truglow 4 power strutn'rut compact on it and I love it. I was always a fan of the bead but my choke shoots high and if you don't have your face all the way down on the gun you'll shoot over a turkeys head. I think I paid $60 for the scope and I picked up the base at the Beretta Gallery in Dallas the other day for $90. I don't have any experience with red dots or holos but I can tell you that I do enjoy the scope.

I have a al390. I used Williams firefights which worked good then switched to fastfire on a speedbead mount which I really liked

Would a reflex sight help with aging eyes?  There's no magnification right?  I know you can use 2 eyes open when you shoot .

I purchased a dead ringer site which acts as a peep site over the weekend and shot 3' winchester 6's (red shell) out of a .655 jellyhead and placed 152 pellets in a 10 inch circle. Seems difficult to miss with that site and am excited to line it up with a turkey here in NY in 3 weeks!
