Post by: turkeykiller on March 23, 2014, 02:12:23 PM
Has anyone shot a Benelli Super Nova with a Jeb Headhunter 650. If so what did you use an how did they do. Having a little trouble with the right combo.

I shoot a SuperNova with the steadygrip stock and a .650 Sumtoy choke tube and average 250-260 with Longbeard 3.5" #6 @ 40 yards...

I have an original Nova (same barrel i.d.), currently with a 24" barrel installed. I've shot the JEB's with a .655 e.d. with 3" Hevi-13s with both #6 and #7 shot. I had some good even patterns with both of those shells and that choke tube. I'm not as much into numbers as density with no large gaps or holes, so I don't really have any numbers for you.

I hope that helps some.

Thanks,
Clark

I used to have a Nova and a Super Nova, they both shot great with a Kick's GT .665
