Had a great opening morning here in North GA. Shot the better of two that came in together after fighting for 10 minutes over on the next ridge. Blue bird morning and one to remember...

Thanks for all the kind words. This marks my 25th season chasin' Gobblers. It's a grand thing that I think about 365 days a year.....Good to see others slappin' some snoods as well.

Awesome bird... congratulation..glad to see some success in Ga for the opener.. 2 rivers being out of the banks prevented me from even getting thru the gates on 2 of my three honeyholes...luckily the old home place was high and dry..didn't score ,but got to watch two beautiful birds strut...just barely outta range..and would NOT respond to my calls..had 7 hens with 'em....just a beautiful weekend in the Georgia woods( after the storm passed Sat am...lol)...yeah, this is definitely an addiction that I have been battling for over 20 years as well..good job !!
