Any real big difference between them? Never used aluminum before but ordered a few pieces to try out.
I personally MUCH prefer the bead blasted aluminum!!!

However if conditioned right the anodized still sounds great!! And in the pot calls I make it seems to get lots of rasp to it also

Whats everyones ideal conditioning for the anodized? I guess maybe i shouldve gotten the blasted haha!
Never heard an aluminum pot call I'd tote to the woods.....
Ive never had one before but figured why not add another weapon to my arsenal! Never know!
Alcohol wipe first then , I used a green ScotchBrite pad and lightly hit it.

Lonnie Mabry makes one that's deadly with a Dad's monkey wood striker. This one was responsible for 3 deaths this past weekend alone.(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/25/nemenere.jpg)
I like anodized. To me it runs similar to a slate with a bit more higher pitch. I've run some before I wouldn't tote in the woods cause they had a very tinny tone to em. I got one from Wendell rye and that thing is lights out..... Pun intended
