Title: Tried something a little different - new wingbone
Post by: alloutdoors on March 22, 2014, 03:37:16 PM
I've been playing around with this the last couple days. Wanted to try something new other than standard thread wrapping, this is what I came up with. Don't usually do lip stops on my wingbones either, but made one from deer antler for this one.

Very nicely done.    How do you texture the bone?

How do you texture the bone?

I used an engraving bit on my Dremel.

That is beautiful!!  Do you sell them or do you make them only for personal use? If it's the former I would order one.

Sounds good, hope the curse lifts and you fold one up with it next year. Maybe you can kill a NY gobbler with it...
