Title: Mossy 935 LongBeards Indian Creek
Post by: SCDieselDawg on March 22, 2014, 01:02:41 PM
Here's a few patterns with the LongBeard shells from Winchester. I intended to shoot all 3 shot sizes through both the Indian Creek and SSX choke but had to stop short due to my red dot lost zero. But here they are and all shots were taken at a lasered 40 yds

3.5" 6s Indian Creek

3.5" 5s Indian Creek

3.5" 4s Indian Creek- wasn't many pellets outside of the pattern. Pretty much was a basketball with few flyers.

Here's one with 6s through the SSX

I will add the last two shots with the 4s and 5s through the SSX as I get to shoot them. I also have a .670 Kicks GT and a .680 MadMax that are subject to this same test.

That corresponds with what I got.  I only tried the 3.5" #5 and in my 935 with IC choke I got in the 170's and 180's

I intended to shoot all 3 shot sizes through both the Indian Creek and SSX choke but had to stop short due to my red dot lost zero.

Can I ask what red dot you were using?

I think its a Bushnell Trophy Dot. I've had it for a while. Let me say that it may not have lost zero. I may have lost mine! I was adjusting the windage and it kept getting worse. There's a strong possibility that I wasn't paying attention and was turning it the wrong way.
