I really like the paracord slings guys are making but im thinking they would be slipping off the shoulder constantly can anyone confirm this and also any ideas on a backing to make it non slip...thanks in advance guys
I had a friend who braids paracord make me one a couple of years back. It's probably as tough a sling as you can get, but you're right it doesn't want to stay very well at all.
I made myself one, and you're right they do slip a bit but that really doesn't bother me too much as I made mine to fit me. Really don't know what you could do other than put some type of neopreme or rubber on it. All that said its still very comfortable and tuff as nails.
I've heard that some people put drops of silicone caulk on the inside where is runs on your shoulder to keep it from slipping. That's what I'm going to try. I have one on order.
Not a bad idea gona try it love the looks of them
I ordered one, hope it works out
Y'all must use them different than I do. I have the strap on the opposite shoulder from the turkey. Example, turkey under right arm, tote around left shoulder.
sorry meant gun sling not turkey sling
