Found this site today cruising the web trying to satisfy the spring itch waiting to finally get out after some turkeys. I've been a hunter for about 30 years starting with deer and small game. Started turkey hunting about 20 years ago with scattered successes here and there...so far harvesting 13 turkeys, mostly jakes but with some nice long beards mixed in the bunch. Love getting out after them and can't wait for the season to start here in NY on May 1st! The group here seems very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about turkey hunting. I'm hoping to learn a lot visiting here! Good Luck everyone and be safe out there this spring!

Welcome. That's a nice area you're in. I lived in the Finger Lakes region for six years and loved it.
