I got a couple of boxes from last year I need to pattern with my .665 sumtoy. What pellet count should I expect in a 10" circle on average? (3.5 #6's 2oz)
Did some searching on the forums but cant find much
Hard to say...but my best guess would be 180-225 in the 10" at 40 yards. Again that's just a guess based on what I shot through a 835. When you shoot a few let us know how it worked out! :icon_thumright:
Are you shooting a 3" or 3.5" shell in the SM?

he is shooting a 3.5" shell.
I get 180-190 with my 870's and that shell .
It will be more than enough for turkey kill'n. Once you hit 150 you're in overkill mode.
I like overkill ;D

Dang it Drum turkey season isn't even started good and I'm already overlooking details. I saw it the second look though and thanks for helping the elderly crowd.
I tried the 3" 1.75oz #6 XRHD and got 193 with an Indian Creek .665
I imagine the .665 SumToy choke will get after it.
