Are any of you not using the forend by chance? I'm looking for one of the longer forends, camo or black doesn't really matter, I just can't find the forend by itself or even with the standard stock online
I have been checking into this myself and the part # from Remington is #F306351 for the forend. You may also need a different bolt if changing from a wood stock, but I don't know what that # is. I could find it though. Let me know how you do. I haven't done it yet, but am going to soon.

Contact Remington costumer service direct by phone.
Tell them you need a synthetic forearm for the 870 20.
They will sell you one and they don't make the old style
forend anymore. You can get the 800# off the bottom
of the home page on their web site.I have purchase
several of them without any problems.

I changed one from a regular wood forearm to an extended synthetic and it worked fine without changing anything else.
Thanks for the replies guys, I'm stuck somewhere between decisions on continuing to revamp the 870 with new stocks and dipping or doubling that money for an M2 American, so I'm trying to get the prices down for everything. I love my little 870 and it shoots well, but for whatever reason I'm itching for a Benelli these days
