Title: pattern with a 12 ga. vinci
Post by: coop39 on March 14, 2011, 04:59:59 PM
I finally got around to patterning my vinci. 12 Ga. 26" 665. kicks choke. 40 yds.
Hevi 13 # 6's 3"= 160 in a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper with 85 in a 6 x 6 square
Hevi 13 max blend 3"= 222 in a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper with 94 in a 6 x 6 square. I might add that there were several places where the holes were too large to estimate how many pellets hit the spot.

Just wanted to post my results in case there was someone else looking to try to find info on the Vinci since there seems to be limited info on it.

I would suggest patterning on larger pieces of paper so you don't miss your true pattern.  3'x3' works quite well.

I would suggest a .655.

I would normally have used bigger paper but I forgot it at the house so I used what I had. I think I am ok with the setup using the blend because most of the pellets that weren't in the 6 x 6 were right on the line. My results aren't quite as good as some peoples I've read, but I dont really see one getting away with my results.
