Title: Choke tube for mossberg 535
Post by: TylerTaylor25 on March 16, 2014, 08:48:00 PM
I am looking for a new choke tube for my mossberg 535. Any suggestions for those of you who have experience with patterning a 535?

Seen good results with a .660 JellyHead. Shot the LongBeard XR #4's really well. Somewhere around 140 in the 10 at 40 yards. Thats always a good place to start.

It will be harder to beat the cheap Primos tightwad. 660 choke especially with hevishot magnumblends. Out of all the chokes i tried it shot the best and only cost $15. Shooting 200-215 at 40 with the magnum blends. Hadn't tried the winchester longbeards. I got my Primos tightwad on ebay cheap. You won't find one that says Mossberg 535,but it is just a standard invector choke.

I am looking to try the magnum blends I have heard nothing but good things, although they are a little pricey.
