Title: Nice Start in Florida
Post by: joey46 on March 16, 2014, 04:17:28 AM
Florida's central/northern zone opened yesterday.  Using my Knight TK2000 I took the back end of an Osceola double with my buddy.  The Knight rolled him right over at 29 yards.  I use the load published in the Knight owners manual - 2 1/2oz #6 lead, 100 grains Goex BP, Knight plastic wad with foam over shot, CCI primer.  When I first obtained this gun I thought about trying various other load combinations but "it ain't broke - don't fix it" is a good motto.  With the 100 grains and 2 1/2oz lead it is a kicker however.  If I was going to introduce a new shooter to it I would load it way down for trial shots.
