What would be a good load to try in a Remington 870 super mag with a .665 hs undertaker. I have shot 3" mag blends and got 125 at 40.

In lead the Win LBXR , Federal Flite Control, Win Supreme XX 3-13/4-6 or 3-2-6, Turkey Thug all in #5 or #6 your choice.
For Heavier Than lead the Fed HW #7 or #6 or H-13 #6 or #7 should give excellent patterns.
Best bet for economy and first try? Win Longbeard XR 3-1 3/4-#6.
Note: if you like up up close and personal the Win Lead sixes or fives will serve you well I believe.
I just patterned my SX3 with LB 3 and 3 1/2 #5's with .665 briley rifled choke. They were so tight I will hunt with the Winchester supreme HV in #5's. I have 870 supermag and I believe that if you are looking for a tight pattern I would use 3 or 3 1/2 Long Beard in a #5 shot. I also have a .655 factory choke I was going to pattern but the Patterns I got with the .665 were so tignt I didn't pattern it.
I forgot that I did try 3" #5 turkey thugs in it and i got less than 90 at fourty yards. I may get a box of the long beards to try in the gun all I have seen around here is 5s. Would they be ok thru a .665 constriction choke or would 6s do better ?

My Undertaker is a 665 Remington ported. I don't believe they make it anymore with the ports. It loves Long Beards and Win Supreme HV 6s. It shot 115 with Long Beard 5s.
Im my 870 I shoot a Balistic Specialties Choker and the Undertaker is very similar to it...I've never got magblends to shoot worth a dime. Try Hevi #6 or Win Longbeards or even the old Win HV I prefer #6 in lead or 6 or 7 in htl.
just my :z-twocents:
Mag blends seem to shoot better with a Jellyhead choke,IMO.
