I travel real light, them hills get steep !
gonna try to keep it simple this year no vest to start season do all run n gun hunting
My vest has gotten smaller and smaller over the years...
Now the requirements are usually-
-GPS with topo map
-a few extra shells
-one pot call (usually anodized aluminum because it's high pitched)
-4-5 mouth calls
- rolled up TP (yep, it's a must have)
- thermocell (if you hunt in the deep south you know why)
- box call
- crow call
I'm just gettin' started, so my list is neither as long nor as distinguished as some of y'alls - but it makes it easy to write out, especially since I spread it all out on the couch yesterday to make sure it was all ready!
Let's see, here..

My favorite. Lightweight allows calls to try and no more broken plastic cases. Usually have 3 different mouth calls in the slots.
