...a big ol' black hog. Had my cams out this week to get some turkey pics and this fat sucker must have been cruising through in the middle of the night. Scared to death there's more, because I know where there's one....you know the saying.
How much you think he weighs? :fud:
150 lbs
Yep, where theres one, there are others. They can make some damn fine breakfast sausage. Almost impossible to control, but you can sure have fun trying.
Gman
Start shooting now.
What County are you in?

I saw three on my property for the first time last year. Now I'm seeing 20 and 30 at a time. Good luck.
Kill them all, now.
about 150lbs of bacon
Kill every one that you see!! :fud: If you do it now before they populate, you might have a chance. Those things breed like rabbits, and tear your property to pieces.
Sorry bud you'll never get rid of them, they'll only get worse. Best you can do is hunt them with dogs every year. You can pressure them off the property. Smart critters.
never had to deal with hogs where I hunt...reading the previous posts, I guess that's a good thing...good luck with them..hopefully they don't get out of hand.

Hope you don't. They're fun to hunt and kill, but they spread like wild fire. One sow will have multiple litters of multiple piglets a year and they destroy EVERYTHING
better start huntin
Good luck with that.....We have had them for 2 years now and can't get rid of them.

In Tx, some of our places used to smell like a barnyard because of all the pigs. Some of those boars can get big and territorial and the mamma's can be aggressive when they have babies.
Like others have said, you better start trying to get ahead of them now or you wont be able to catch up. We used to manage strictly for deer and turkey and the game biologist told us they can have 4 litters a year and have from 6-12 piglets per litter.
I'd get one of the big cages set up on your property. Otherwise, you may have no property left worth defending after those critters get established. Good luck.

Better start killing them or they will spread like crazy.
