Title: Remington Repair?
Post by: arrowslanger on March 10, 2014, 09:56:55 PM
I sent Remington my 11-87 20 gauge compact almost two weeks ago back to them for repair.  The issue is I tried to track the repair and for 2 days last week it stated " repairman looking at it.   That was last Tuesday.  Now when I try to track the repair it says " no results found".   I have tried calling and all I get is a recording about call center shut down due to storm in North Carolina.   They haven't responded to multiple emails.   Has anyone else had this issue with Remington before?...I'm a little concerned to say the least.

Remington can be a bit difficult to deal with, like most makers in the gun industry.  However, I have found that remington does usually rectify problems but it takes a bit of persistence.  Keep calling and emailing and good luck.

I finally talked to Remington.  My 11-87 20 gauge compact was shipped yesterday.   A reply or email would of been nice.   At least it should arrive on Thursday, that's good news for me.  No explanation as to what work was performed.  The only thing said was " it shipped yesterday"....one would think that Remington's customer service would be better than that.

Glad it's on the way, now if you really want bad customer service, call Browning.  I think they hire all the rejects from other gun makers :turkey2:

Remington will never admit to anything wrong, that's my personal experience with them. Arrowslinger I hope they got your gun straightened out.

Thanks Gold Spur.   I hope it's right also. I have never had an issue with a firearm before.
