Title: new call maker
Post by: Teebugg on March 09, 2014, 10:42:46 PM
Decided this season to start making my own friction calls. Starting small with some chew can calls. Waiting for an order to get here of some slate glass and striker materials. Any tips for the new guy? Was hoping to make some glass ones over the chew can lid as a soundboard but not real sure its gonna happen. Anyways glad to be here!

I made a 3" glass call with a Cope lid glued on a glass soundboard. It was a while ago but I think I peeled the label from the plastic and glued it to the glass and it fit nice and sounded good too.
