Title: Gunsmith?
Post by: Punisher on March 08, 2014, 11:20:07 PM
I am wanting to get a Rem. 870 20 ga and a Rem. 870 12 ga. drilled and tapped for red dots.  Anyone know of any good gunsmiths in the Bowling Green, KY area?  Thanks in advance.

I have not personally had any work done by him, but I've heard good things about Mike Ezell in Auburn.

I think William ( sumtoy) here does that's kind of work , he said he was slammed with orders for barrel work last season , but when I was talking to him on the phone last time , he had mentioned he was doing drilling and taping for sights and scopes - shoot him a PM and see what he is able to do --

I sent  William (Sumtoy) an 870 receiver to be  drilled and tapped after another guy messed it up(mount was crooked and canted). He did a great job fixing it and I can highly recommend his work. I imagine he is very busy now but I would call or p.m. him to see.

William (Sumtoy) has my M2 20 ga. now putting a 336 mount and FF3 on it.  Also getting a choke for it.
