hello all im new to the turkey hunting sport but have been deer hunting for years (archery, shotgun) a few weeks ago i purchased a used 11-87 special purpose 12 gauge and got a rhino 660 choke off of the site. right now im looking for a input on what shells to use and any other tips for a newbie
hevi shot h-13 no. 7 and let her fly ,by the way :welcomeOG: :anim_25:
:welcomeOG: I agree with hookedspur. go with the H-13 #7's.

someting tells me hevi #7s are going to be a popular suggestion now 3" or 3.5" not to worried about recoil just would rather have what should perform better
H13 21/4oz #6's
3 1/2" Hevi-13 7's is my recommendation with a 660 rhino and I would definitely recommend a Limbsaver to go with them. Tamed the 3 1/2's down to a 20 guage dove load in my gun.
A big yes on the Limbsaver best thing you can do to help enjoy the recoil.
slip on or the grind to fit one? how much of a pain are the grind to fit to put on?
another vote for the hevi 3 1/2 #7s, a flat out awesome turkey load!!

Yep, what he said. Killin unit too and past 50 yds. :hello99: & :welcomeOG:
you can get the limbsavers in a pre fit pad for your rig, that is the way i would go, and also h13 7's in a 3 and half. :welcomeOG:
