Post by: hoyt0008 on March 04, 2014, 05:26:37 PM
I just layed away a used mossberg 9200 in mossy oak treestand camo. I was wondering if anyone out there has this gun and would be willing to share what load/shot size/choke there using and the numbers there getting at 40 yards.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That was my first turkey gun, 16 years ago. I didn't much about chokes and loads back then.
I had H.S Strut .665, 28" vent barrel and shot Federals. I didnt know about the counting pellet's thing back then but it was a decent combo. I killed a few birds with that set-up.
