You don't even have to look outside WV. Call Mr. Sneed and order a Hot Hen.

SS Calls slate in a Cedar pot!! :z-winnersmiley:
Mr Sneed Hot hen slate and have money left for a outlaw hen
thanks everyone
Magnolia would be my pick but the other mentioned calls are good.
Lon Trice makes some great sounding pot calls, just recently got one of his glass/birdseye maple pots and it sounds unbelievable...a buddy has a slate he made that sounds just as good.
Lonzo's custom calls= slap full of turkey!
Roberts brothers makes a nice chestnut or cedar call, Clint corder, or Lon Trice makes great stuff, I have his Birdseye maple slate and glass calls. They sound unbelievable.
magnolia game calls. black walnut slate pure turkey.....
I'll second Lon Trice's slate. I have one in an osage orange pot. It's the first custom call I ever bought. After trying out many others I found out just how good it is. Called up a turkey the first day I took it to the woods. There are many other good ones out there but this is the best slate I've ever used. You won't be disappointed.
