And they were fantastic! I shoot an old Mossberg 500A with just a full choke and never have deep cleaned my gun, nor count pellet numbers.
I consider myself in the majority of hunters that don't count pellet numbers, but just want a good even pattern that shoots out to 40 yards.
I ran some 3" 6 shot and at 40 it was laying the smack down in a 10" circle. Best shot I've ever run thru my gun and I didn't shoot past 40 yds but know it would probably be a killing load a little further.
Just my :z-twocents:
I'm headed to buy another box soon so I can have some for a few years to come

Good news. Come on 20 gauge, yes, TWENTY GAUGE for next year in #5s and #6s . My bet is that they will sell all they make WHEN they do.

I think with the volume of sales with the 12ga the next logical step will be the 20ga.
How do you know which choke and shell combo is best if you don't count? Just asking.......
I would count to see what % pattern my gun shoots at forty yards in a 30 inch circle, but if I am looking for the tightest core if I have to count I just shoot another shell. If still not satisfied I go to another brand. With the Winchester Supreme high velocity and now the Winchester Long Beard, for lead shooters I would think the counting would be over.
