Are supernovas chrome lined?
Reason I'm asking is I have a buddy that has one, and I would like him to be able to get it polished, but heard you can't polish a chrome lined barrel.
Yes a Super Nova is chrome lined.
Yes they are chrome lined....I polished mine with no problem. The trick is to use solvent soaked patches wrapped around a brass brush. Then add your JB's to that. Do not get arrgessive, just two or three mins. is all it needs and BE SURE to keep it moving and don't let the brush sit in one place. DO NOT use the scotch brite method !!!
