First of all, I would like to thank all the friends that offered their prayers to me, my Dad and our entire family. It is a true testament to the bond that exists between people that have never met. I am truly blessed to have friends like this in my life. Thank you!
Now, on a more somber note. My Father passed away at 1:30 this morning. He was surrounded by family as he was born into his Heavenly home. It was a devastatingly sad moment for us. But as he took his final breath, a calmness overtook me as I knew his struggles were over. It still hurts as I write this, but being a Christian, and all the benefits that it brings, has put me at ease.
I anxiously await our next meeting.. :cross2:
