Title: best lightweight pants

since trek lite cant be found any longer, whats the next best lightweight pant?  it gets hot pretty quick here in s ga.  ol tom?, bass pro stuff?

I have had a couple pair of ol tom pants, both the interceptor and technical and they wear pretty good.

On the ol tom pants...The need pad pockets,are they on the inside or outside of the pants ?

They are on the inside. It's a mesh type pocket and the pads are removable.

I want to get a pair but didn't want the pocket on the outside,it would just be something in the way that wouldn't get used.

Yeah, they are pretty nice. I didn't care for the knee pads and removed them after wearing a time or two. I have got my money's worth between turkey hunting and bow hunting this SC heat with them. They have held up nicely and very comfortable.
