Title: Long box carrying options?
Post by: darn2ten on February 24, 2014, 12:48:47 PM
Never carried a long box before. I really don't even use a box much at all. While at the convention I ended up finding one that was one of the best sounding ones I've ever ran, and the maker make me a absolute smoking deal I couldn't turn down. Now I'm just wondering the best way or pouch you've found for carrying one of these as most vest are set up for short boxes.

Contact Ferguson on here as he has a connection for one of the nicest leather holsters you will ever pick up!

I have a couple of long boxes (boat paddles) that I hunt with. They are a little cumbersome. I carry mine in a big pocket on the INSIDE of my vest, that seems to work OK for me. I love those boat paddles, that sound carries a LONG way.

I use a custom made leather bolster, but you can pick up a
Camo cordura case for $10 to $15. Mid West has them.
