With all the very good patterns some of you have been putting up with the new longbeards,I was wondering if anybody had patterned with just a standard full choke. With the high numbers they are producing at 40 and as a result the golfball sized holes at 20,just curious how they might do out of a full.Produce decent numbers at 40 and more open at closer ranges?Maybe even run one thru a modified.Havent had temps here over 40 degrees here in a while or I may have given it a try.Just seeing if anybody had done this.Thanks.

People keep talking about golfball holes at 20. I shot mine at 20 with the same choke that gave 218 at 40 and didn't have a golfball hole. It was no tighter than other loads I've shot.
I've patterned other loads in the past through a Standard .040 Extra Full choke, and I have gotten really nice even patterns out to 35 Yards, but the numbers weren't what I wanted at 40 Yards. Long Beard loads might stretch that out past 40 Yards now?
Here is what mine shot at 20yds with a sumtoy...definitely not golfball...Lee
As soon as I can get some time,we are going to find out that exact thing.
Going to try some 5's through the .710 factory full choke I have for my 835
I don't really believe the golf ball size pattern at 20 they may be looking at a hole created by the wad
