Title: Mossberg 935 barrel length ?
Post by: obro on February 21, 2014, 08:34:09 PM
I was wondering if anyone had any input on 22 vs 24 inch barrel length in the 935 ? I'm sure the 24 is going to be a little better , but how much better .

I think the patterns would be close to the same with both barrels. If your only using it for turkeys then go with the 22". If you are going to do any wing shooting, id go with the 24".

Mine has a actual length, of 26", that's with the SAAMI actual measurement from the  muzzle to the closed bolt, from the muzzle end.

It is a non-ported model and throws pattens that are superior to most guns I've shot.

It's muzzle heavy but is a wonderful gun.

Thanks,
Clark

I have a 26" barrel on one of my 835's and I have to say that I like it better than the 24" on the other one.
