Title: Mossberg rear sight elevation screw
Post by: mossybird on February 19, 2014, 08:31:45 PM
I went to shoot my Mossberg 535 today since we had 65 degree temperatures and noticed before i shot that the rear sight was missing the elevation screw. It is the stock rear sights. Im gonna go to my local hardware store to see if they have the same one, just wondering if yall might have lost one and knew the exact size. Last resort is to call Mossberg. Dont wanna pay too much shipping for something the size of a pen tip. Any help is appreciated.

Mossberg CS is usually very good, they should replace it for free.

Those stock sites are also junk. I'd put aftermarket sites on.

They are made by a company named Allen. Some times wall-mart has them. They make archery products also. I think they have a web site. I would ask wall-mark if they have them listed in their books. I think I gave about $20.00 for a set.    cluck

I did the same thing, lost the screw. I found a set screw at Fas-n-all Company but the screw height wasnt right, it was blocking the view of the front bead. I had to order a new set of sites from Mossberg because they couldn't sell me just the set screw. I think It was $17 shipped.
