Title: Life in NE?
Post by: wisconsinteacher on March 12, 2011, 11:19:24 PM
My wife is starting to feel the pull of her three little cousins living in Omaha, NE and started talking about moving.  I know there are turkeys and deer on the east side of the state, but what else is there to chase and catch?  I love to ice fish and summer fish.  I also enjoy bowhunting and trapping.  Would living in a rural community near Omaha provide fun for an outdoorsman?  I am guessing my biggest lose moving from WI to NE would be bear hunting.

I have 2 of my kids living in Omaha, and I use to, and you are defintely losing a lot from Wisconsin to Nebraska as far as hunting and fishing without picking up anything in return.
