Title: 870 with some lead
Post by: cphill on February 18, 2014, 06:30:16 PM
Ok i did clean the barrel before I went to shoot but not deep clean and didn't clean between shots but I just had to see how spectra shot would do and its ok but not passed 30 or so. Now the federal mag shok with fcw #5 I think will work a little farther but i need to clean between shots and see if it gets better tight now I say its good to 35 (http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/19/gyqejase.jpg)spectra on top then fed (http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/19/aha9y7ub.jpg)(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/19/7apuzydy.jpg)its amazing what 10 yard does to a pattern

That is right on the money with what I got out of my 870,26" with lead. It's a good 35yd  setup .

Mine is a 20" youth but basically the same pattern.  It is crazy what 5-10yds will do to a lead pattern.

I deep cleaned the barrel the other day so will post some pics when I shoot again and clean between shots. See if it makes a difference
