Im keeping my fingers crossed for a 3" 5-6. Those were great shells.
I havnt seen any for a good while.
I think they will keep it listed until they see how the longbeards pan out, and then let it fade away when everyone hasforgotten about it
I have seen some #4's locally but nothing else.
I still got 2 boxes of 3.5" #5's and one box of 3" #6's
I saw some 4's on either basspro or cabelas website just a couple days ago. Can't remember for sure but I think they were 3.5 inch.
Been seeing a buttload around here. All 4's though
If the Longbeards hold up pattern wise like they have been, I say who cares if they ever run them again? While I run them and love them, it didn't keep me from selling about 80% of what I had because I have so many other quality, proven loads to last me 5 lifetimes. Once the temps crawl out of the freezer here, I'll be trying out those LB's and if they pattern like I'm hoping they will, I won't even look in the rearview at the high density loads...
I spoke with Donnie at Winchester today. He said it has been discontinued due to the high cost of tungsten..However i forgot to ask why is it still listed on their website. Lee
