One thing I have seen that will light up the gobblers in the area would be the sound of thunder :newmascot:. Man they go "nuts". It is possible to do "BUT" dragging a sheet of tin around in the woods is a bit of a challenge. :camohat:

May try that, imagine the looks when you have a little drummer boy roaming around with a drum. On the other had I have seen a few turkey "hunters" roaming, making so much noise the birds took off for the next zip code. :anim_25:
Hand held full sound train whistle would be good too!

A coach's whistle would probably work as good as anything as a locator, just wouldn't sound natural. I doubt the turkeys would be scared by it though.
Get a maple or oak slat about a 1" by 2" 5 ft long cut in half slap them together works every time.
