Call is made from a nice piece of padauk. It's slate over glass. Striker is two piece with bloodwood used for business end.
I've been making pot calls for about 10 years. Usually about 15-20 each year. I'm a machinist/toolmaker by trade that enjoys making turkey calls and hunting turkeys. Each call and striker are done on a small engine lathe, one at a time.
