Title: Remington ventilator
Post by: bushwhacker on February 13, 2014, 09:22:39 PM
I just ordered a Remington ventilator to try in each of my 870's. I'm hoping one of them will like it with either 3" or 3.5" winchester or turkey thug #6's. I have two super mags with 23" and 28" barrels and an express 3" with a 21" barrel. Surely between the three I can find one that this choke will work in. Got it from Numrich gun parts for $24.95 shipping and all. Not too bad I didn't think.

Your welcome.

That choke is the best kept secret choke on the market for the money.

Here's the link for the guys that want a killer Rem choke for most loads.  I have only high praise to say about this choke.  The guy that told me about the Star Dot for the 835 is the same guy that told me about this Ventilator choke.  He went by reloader on here.  He was right on both chokes.  That choke is worth $50 in my honest opinion.

Thats where I got mine from, but expect it to take at least a month to get it. They take forever to ship anything.

I want to take the time to show guys again just how good this choke would shoot the Hevi-13 3" 2oz #7's.  This target was taped at 40yds.  Look at the number of hits in the vertabrae.

Here's a direct link since some of it is cutoff.

And here's the backside of the big piece of cardboard that turkey target was taped to.

There is 283 shot in that 10" cutout.

Will that choke fit all 12ga remington guns including the supermags (11-87 and 870)? I have one and thought about running it through my 1187 supermag with the hevi 7's.

I agree.  One day they will sell for that much used.

It Fits ALL the RemChoke guns like the 870, 1100, 1187.  NOT the ProBore guns like the VersaMax.
