I may have a chance to get a smokin' deal on a Benelli M2 with a 21" pipe. Not that I really need another turkey shotgun but that's beside the point.
What kind of results can I expect on the patterning board? All of my other guns have 24-26" barrels so this is new territory for me. I've been shooting HTL loads for the last 10 years but wouldn't be opposed to going back to copper plated 5s with this rig.
I'm thinking this gun will make a good late season option being so short and chambered for 3". I'm not looking to reach out and touch them.
Most of my turkey guns are 21"-24". I have a pattern pic up with the 24" M2. Im actually looking for a 21" M2 if you dont want it let me know. Most 21" barrels are just a little picky on choke but most short barrels I have owned will not through the pattern of say a 26" Good luck your next gun.
