If you have a turkey - if no one else can kill it - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The A-Team
L@@ks as if you found a couple of them. Wish somtimes I could. We can only take 1 a day here in TN. 4 in this county for spring season, a good limit though. :camohat:

Good question Asmith4,
My thought this year, we can take 4 birds here in my county. I have 4 "turkry toasters" so 1 with each :icon_thumright:. Have taken a few birds with all, except the Knight TK 2000 ML SG. New this year so first I'll tug it along first, can't wait to "smoke one" with it. The most rewarding would be the Xbow though, nothing like watching a bolt fly right to the mark.

What's up fellas. South Florida guy here. Hoping to get our team out to a good start. Only 13 days till opener.

headbanger signing in :z-guntootsmiley: will be hunting in the home state of GA and do my best to limit out with 3 longbeards. May attempt a bama hunt if time allows.

 L@@ks as if you have your "turkey toaster" dialed in :happy0064:
I do but to be honest those shots where 7 and 10 paces away. I like them close!
JW
I'm always amazed with the amount of blood in a bird. Drips all over the back of the legs "tote um" out. :camohat: Don't get that much on me field dressing a deer :fud:
JW what choke / shell combination are you using. I have my 835 set up with a Indian creek 690 shooting Hevi Shot Combo and getting similar results.

Hastings Extra Full Choke .663 and Winchester Supreme Copper Plated #4 - 3 inch.
I have been using that combo in my 1187 since 2004. Before that I used Winchester Supreme #6.
I tried some Hevi some time ago and didn't like it. I tried some blended but at different ranges they left holes in the pattern. I know what my pattern is from 10 ft to 55 yards.
But I like them close. I put a stick in the ground and if they get there game on....if not I loose.
JW
Hope this is where I am to check in at? I will be hunting and guiding in Michigan this year.
Good luck everyone, glad to be here
This will work - Hey folks we are all in - we got our Dozen - now don't be strangers on this team forum.....
Dave...JW
Good news...so who will be the first one to kick off the 2014 season?? KY opener isn't until april 12 so I still have a bit.
.Drthorn I think Florida might be the first one to kick the season off. I believe we have 1-2 guys that are from that area if not it looks like it might be me kicking it off. I'll be in Mississippi on March 15 for the opener then to Louisiana for the opener on March 22. So it looks like the pressure might be on me. If it's anything like last year, it won't get cranked up until end or March.
