I had my short box stored in a Dresser Drawer over the off season and pulled it out last night to play it.Everything was normal playing it from right to left.If I tried yelps or hard cutting from the other side I can hear an audible squeak coming from the screw spring area.Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated!Something changed while in storage,hopefully just a small adjustment or a small drop of oil on screw spring area?Thanks for any help,Mike
Chalk build up ?
I had removed the chalk with a paper towel at the end of the season.Sounds like a metal squeak to me.
