What's the best recoil reducing pad out there. Trying to tame the 1300. Anyone try the Hogue stock?
I have a Sims precision fit on mine. Works well but the 1300 has a mind of it's own. I would really concentrate on apply pressure on the slide towards your target. That can reduce recoil as much as 30%.

The precision fit limbsavers seem to work great. I have used the rem supercell pads on my rem with good results. The sims is your best bet. I like to call them MAXI pads. Lol
The precision fit limbsaver for me too!!! GREAT pad....worked like a CHAMP on my 835 to tame it down!!! :icon_thumright:

Limbsaver is an excellent product. I use a number of the slip on pads from Limbsaver, especially when the only other option is the grind to fit pad that some stocks require.
Either way they are great products.
Thanks,

another vote for limbsaver
Limbsaver for me :icon_thumright:
Pachmayr, and Limbsaver both work well for me.
Limbsaver for me :icon_thumright:
I purchased the limbsaver for my Mossy 935, and it made a world of difference! However, later I purchased the pistol grip stock from Choate that comes factory on some of the Mossbergs. The recoil pad on it is completely different from the normal stock one, so no interchange for the limbsaver. Anyone aware if SVL is going to offer one of their recoil pads for the Choate/Mossberg pistol grip stock? Seems like they would definitely sell.
