A lot of you know me and my pursuit of spring gobblers. You also know I'm a big fan of anything that will get me closer to shooting a longbeard in the face. I had teased about my secret weapons this year and now it's time to unveil them. I have added a couple more must haves for this season. So this is my plan for this year. I'm going to get me one of those blinds that looks like a cow. I had one last year and set it up the day before I was going to hunt in a pasture. When I got there the next morning it was smashed and had a big hole in the back of it. Somebody had sabotaged my plan, there was a bull there that had a smile on his face for some reason. I guess he thought it was funny.

You also know I'm the owner of RCD and the inventor of Badonkadeke, so naturally I will be using him on every hunt. Some of you may not know I'm also the inventor of the FFM, aka Fan Face Mask. I will have it at all times as well.

I also have some secret shells coming from a good ole boy in TN. These shell can put 493 pellets in a 5" circle at 97 yards. Combine that with my barrel extension I figure I could easily double that.
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v395/olesixbeards/NewPlan2.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/olesixbeards/media/NewPlan2.jpg.html)
I also will be carrying my MKW trumpet and my MSHARPE wingbone with the string extender on all hunts this year. They may want them back after this thread. Also I will have the the original string by MSHRPE, the Key to success visible in my left hand, and my new extended vision glasses which will allow me to see approaching gobblers from 600 yards away in heavy timber. With these, my super shells and extended barrel I figure if I can see him I can kill him.

I'm 53 years old and know my time is running out. Are there any additional secret weapons I should look into. Don't tell me the squealing hen etc. etc. I know those are just gimmicks.

Now thats the type of input I need. Oh, I'm all in. I'm going to go the Super Delux model. Can't imagine what will be going on in a gobblers head if I he see's me getting out of or into my cow blind.
The basic model would probably be good for later in the season once it starts getting hot. Thanks!!!

I figured you killed at least one to have a fan for that hat and decoy. Get that turkey suit and you'll be in birds in no time.

It was either road kill or my Mom killed it.

Not once did you share any of those top secret weapons with me! ;D

I don't have any more secret tips for killing one, but once you do, here is a good recipe for turkey butt.
