Title: Sx3 and final strut .655
Post by: Uchee creek gobblers on February 09, 2014, 10:52:26 AM
Wish I could post some pics but can't figure it out. Shot a 3 1/2 mag blend and got 195 in the 10.
Shot a long beard 3 1/2 #6 and got 218 in the 10! Both at lasered 40 with nice even pattern with good outside of the ten killing pattern. Also shot lonbeard # 5 and got really nice patterns. Didn't count the hits but looked good. Also shot at 20 and got around a six inch pattern with most being a hole basically. Put a piece of tape at 20 and blowed the left side off so I think I'll be good

It sounds like you're ready to go. You may at some time want to try a 3" load of Hevi-13 with 2 oz. of #7 shot. I think you'll like what you see.

Thanks,
Clark

Ill definitely try them but I can't find any around here. I wish I could get my twenty dead center but I'm about a half inch or so left from where I wanna be but my forty pattern is perfect

Tell the owner of the sporting good store(s) in your area that sells Hevi-Shot to order some of the Hevi-13 #7's in 3" and 3.5".  They will more than likely.

Try the 3.5" Federal Heavyweight #7 thru that choke.  You should get 200+ in the 10 @ 40 yds.
