Post by: fountain2 on February 08, 2014, 10:25:04 AM
Recently acquired one of these.  It has a kicks 680 in it now.  Anybody shoot that gun/choke combo?  If so, what load would work with this combo

I have a .695 Kicks in mine, I have never tried the .680 but can tell you the .690 or .695 works great!!!! I shoot a .695 kicks with #5 and #6 lead. The gun is a very good gun, GOOD LUCK!!

What load do y'all think this choke would shoot well.  Think I have some old federal #6 , just looking at modern options

I shot both the Federal and Winchester 2oz. #5's w/ a Puregold .680 and got good even turkey killing patterns.  The .680 was too tight for 4's, but produced good patterns w/ MagBlends.
