Anyone hearing anything in Mississippi yet?

Im heading that way with a buddy next weekend and hoping they'll be starting to get fired up

Finally heard one yesterday morning gobble a few times. This morning he was silent.

I shot a bird on public land this mornin in MS. He was with 3 other gobblers, he flew down at 6:06 and was dead at 6:07!!! They gobbled prolly 15 times or so... Its still a lil early, but they are looking for sure!

i killed a 3 year old this mornin on public land in south miss. 9 1/2 beard 1 inch spurs. gobbled 3 times
