Title: help me choose

need to put some kind of sight on my 835, gonna shoot 3 in shells so recoil shouldn't be bad. want to stay 100 or under, show me the way brothers :thanks:

This is what I use.  Has your choice of 4 reticle styles in red or green.  You can shoot it with both eyes open & can see on both sides of the sight while viewing the dot.  The cons are is that it sets up high on the gun & you will need a cheek rest to shoot it with comfort.  Others on here use the Mueller Quick Shot which also sets up high but works good also.  These two are under $100 but will hold up to the recoil.  Red dots are great for old eyes like mine.

+1 for the TruGlo red dot. I've got several different models that I've used and I can't complain about any of them.

I switched over to the Nikon Turkey Pro last year and I really like it! I believe I purchased it from Natchez for around $120 but they're normally quite a bit more. Worth looking at if you can find a deal on one though!

Another vote for the Tru-glo.  I have this sight on an 835 and a 870 20ga. and really like it.  Dicks Sporting Goods has them on sale this week for $90.  Good Luck.
