I was wondering if I'm the only won who hunts with a air rifle and if I'm not what guns do u use I use a hatsan bt65 .25 caliber
Don't know how many responses you will get on a turkey forum mentioning the words turkey and rifle together in the same sentence, but I do know a man that killed 4 deer with a .25 air rifle last season and it was VERY effective. None made it out of sight from the stand........
If it were legal in PA, i'd be all over it. I have a number of rediculously accurate springers and have taken pest animals up to LARGE coons and woodchucks to 40+ yards with even the little .177 (NOT in PA). I have had the pleasure of shooting a bunch of different air rifles including some large bore PCP's and I have no doubt that an accurate, powerful air rifle, .22 cal and larger could and would easily take a turkey with a head shot in the lighter calibers and with a vitals shot with the bigger stuff.
