Title: Mossberg 535 stock and choke question!
Post by: C.ABNER on January 29, 2014, 03:41:10 PM
This is my first post to this site and im glad ive joined love turkey hunting and calling, cant believe it took me this long to join. I have a 535 and have had it a couple years killed a couple birds with it, but i was wanting a pistol grip with adjustible stock i cant find a camo one any where i need it in the regular mossy oak break up can not find it. I know mossberg make the same gun with this coming from the factory, but i cant find it from them or after market. Next question is i want to try the jelly head maximum choke from primos, but thier site dont have my gun or the 500 (use the same chokes) listed will any other manufactures thread pattern work? Thanks in advance.

Welcome. Glad you're here. I've owned 3 of the 535s and still have one with the 2 barrel set, for waterfowl and turkeys. Great guns. They use the Win-Choke or Invector threaded chokes. Lots of choices for you out there. I don't know of any camo pistol grips the pattern you want. ATI makes a great tactical stock and also the AKITA in both Black and Black/Brown that look great on that gun. atigunstocks.com (http://atigunstocks.com)

Again, great to have you here.

Thanks,
Clark

Could probably call Mossberg straight up and see what they say.

Not sure why they don't have the JH maximum listed for your gun.  You would figure as popular as the invector guns are they would surely have it.

Few good chokes to pick from. That gun likes the 660 to 665 rang most of the time.
