Title: Which choke for a Hastings Wadlock barrel
Post by: Hawk76 on January 26, 2014, 12:32:17 PM
Looking to order a choke tube soon, but it has the hastings CT2 choke system.  The set up is Rem 1100 magnum, 26" barrel, TSS #9 2oz.  Haven't shot the TSS yet, but used Hevi 7s and blend last year.  Shot 220-240 in 10/40 with a .665 carlson's tube.  Don't want to spend $$ and have it be so-so.  Looking at IC, Wilson Precision, SumToy, etc.  Will be used to kill turkeys only.

Also noticed the forcing cone area was pretty rough.  Is it worth getting polished?

I understand that some company has started manufacturing chokes that will fit those barrels but I don't remember what the name is.

Someone on OG may remember of have the name of that company.

Sorry I can't be of any help.

Thanks,
Clark
